"I am not perfect, and I will never claim to be," said Prejean, who made highly publicized comments opposing same-sex marriage at the April 19 Miss USA pageant. Her remarks came in a statement sent to media outlets Tuesday in response to the photo.
"These attacks on me and others who speak in defense of traditional marriage are intolerant and offensive. While we may not agree on every issue, we should show respect for others' opinions and not try to silence them through vicious and mean-spirited attacks."
There's more than just opinion at stake for Prejean. Her tiara could be in jeopardy. According to reports, the Miss California pageant prohibits her from being photographed "in a state of partial or total nudity."
Donald Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant, sat down with Extra! on Tuesday and said he would be looking at the images but feels strongly pageant contestants shouldn't pose for risqué photos.
She says, she says

According to TMZ.com, she admitted she pulled a gun on her former maid, but only after the maid threatened her, injured her dog and went on a wild tear.
A vet said Principal's dog was suffering from "stress-induced gastritis." Principal is suing for unspecified damages.

Homecoming party for Giraud
Don't worry. That testy Simon Cowell won't be around for this one.
On Thursday, Michiganders are invited to Kalamazoo to celebrate "American Idol" finalist Matt Giraud. A free party for the K-zoo home boy begins at 4 p.m. at the Arcadia Festival site downtown. Festivities will include a performance by Giraud's former band, Drop35, and musical numbers by the dueling piano players from Monaco Bay, the bar where Giraud used to tickle the ivories.
